Julie Ryan Philippine Cuisine | Our Story

Our story

Our story

Food is memory, comfort, and community, and that's how Julie Ryan Philippine Cuisine got started. We're on Dequindre Road in Troy, cooking Filipino home food for metro Detroit.
Why we opened in Troy

Why we opened in Troy

Troy's diverse, welcoming community made it the right place to share Filipino culture through food. We wanted a place where Filipino dishes bring people to the same table.
The food we cook

The food we cook

We cook the classics: adobo, pork sinigang, kaldereta, pancit bihon, sisig, and more. They're savory, sour, and rich, and every one has deep roots in Filipino home cooking.
A table for everyone

A table for everyone

Whether you grew up eating lumpia on weekends or you're trying Filipino food for the first time, we're happy to recommend dishes and explain the flavors.
Save room for halo-halo

Save room for halo-halo

Halo-halo is crushed ice, tropical fruits, and ube, and it's the sweet end to the meal.
